If you’re an athlete, chances are you already drink a ton of water, and that is GREAT! We always ask our clients to be sure they’re not dehydrated before their sports massage. Being hydrated before your massage leads to better and longer lasting results and reduced soreness. After your massage therapist works their magic, you’ll want to drink more water and stretch often to help eliminate toxins.

It’s your body that will release toxins thanks to your sports massage. No form of massage therapy will directly eliminate toxins from your body — that’s a job for your liver and kidneys to complete.
